Do you have questions about “Filli Vanilli,” “Pinkie Pride,” and “Pinkie Apple Pie” that don’t fit into a tweet? Are you eager to get to know their writers better, Amy Keating Rogers and Natasha Levinger?
Then tune in on Saturday, February 22, at 4 p.m. EST (9 p.m. UTC) right here!
During this Ponyville Live, Your Siblings, and Bronies for Good livestream we will interview both writers in parallel in a relaxed panel-like atmosphere. Apart from our prepared questions and topics, we will also accept your questions from the viewer chat.
Although the pegasi’s forecast shows a high probability of funsies to be had, having funsies is ancillary to the true purpose of the event: support for the nonprofit Child Need Africa, who are running the medical clinic in Uganda that we all have helped to fund in 2012. In order to keep up the level of medical service that they’ve been providing to the impoverished region, they’ll need a strong and sustainable source of income for the clinic, one that will be independent of donations in the long term.
The first step to achieving this is for Child Need Africa to buy and renovate a house there, so that the complete revenue from the rents can benefit the operation of the clinic. All the details of the project can be found on our Permanent Income for the Clinic project page and our blog post on the launch.
